# The Imprint — Enharmonic Books

Enharmonic Books is the children's picture-book imprint of F-flat Books — joyful, music-filled stories that help kids find their voice. Publishers of Rosie Rocks!, The Shy Little Monster, Watermelon Watermelon, Onward and Upward, and From Across the Street.

## Why "Enharmonic"?
In music, two notes are *enharmonic* when they're written differently but sound exactly the same — G-sharp and A-flat, one pitch with two names. There are many ways to write the same beautiful sound.

That's what we want our books to be. Music can be a nervous first day of class, a silly Halloween song, a summer in the Dominican Republic, or a street full of homemade instruments — different notations of the same joy. And every child, however they come to it, is welcome to join the song.

## What we publish
Picture books for children (roughly ages 0–8) where music is at the heart of the story, and where the lesson sings.
